Are you considering becoming Catholic?
Are you wondering if Catholicism is the true Church, the Church that Jesus Himself established 2000 years ago?
Is God inviting or challenging you follow Him more fully- to be His disciple?
Are you questioning religion in general? Does belonging to a specific religion matter to God and, if so, which religion is correct?
All these questions and much more will be answered through the Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA).
One does not just follow God; rather, one is called by Him, led by Him to enter into a unique and personal relationship with Him.
He reveals the Truth about Himself and the world He created. But this requires one to be open and willing to follow Him, open to learning what He has revealed since the beginning of time.
Catholicism is not a religion that just happened or began 2000 years ago; rather, it is the fulfillment and continuation of the One, True Faith God revealed to Abraham.
RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, (RCIA) refers to the process of becoming Catholic. The purpose of the classes is to educate those who are discerning whether or not to be Catholic.
Our goal is not to get one to become Catholic; that is the job of the Holy Spirit. Our job is simply to educate those who are considering God’s call to learn more about Him and His Church.
Each participant will have a sponsor; someone to help guide them along the process and be a support to answer questions and walk with them on this journey.
