I was in the store the other day when I passed another person and just knew I knew them. They gave me a “double take” as well when it occurred to the both of us we knew each other from church. We are a larger parish and do not always get the chance to be familiar with others, but it is gratifying when we do.
It is part of our beliefs to gather as community, to get to know one another and in some instances be there for one another. Saint Ann offers a balance of opportunities for you to pray together and play together. The upcoming Beer Tasting evening is an example of this.
We hope you feel you can attend. After all, it is not about the beer although that is a plus. It is about fellowship, sharing, fun and community. The beer will be cold, the food will be good, you will learn about craft beers and most importantly you will enjoy the company of others.
