With praise and thanksgiving to almighty God and in gratitude to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati joyfully announces the ordination of Ethan Michael Hoying to the sacred order of the diaconate through the laying on of hands and the
invocation of the Holy Spirit by his excellency, the Most Reverend Dennis M. Schnurr, Archbishop of Cincinnati. Mass of Ordination will take place Saturday, April 24, 2021 @ 11:00.
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic and precautions in place, attendance for Mass at the cathedral basilica has been restricted to a very limited number of immediate family members. The ordination Mass, however, will be livestreamed and can be accessed through St. Peter in Chains Cathedral website: https://www.stpeterinchainscathedral.org/.
Ethan is excited to celebrate his ordination with us here at St. Ann the weekend of May 8 – 9. He will be preaching at the weekend Masses.
