The Little Sisters of the Poor will not be coming to St. Ann asking for your financial assistance as they have in other years. But they still need assistance. “As a reminder of our mission, we, the Little Sisters of the Poor, have the privilege of caring for the Elderly Poor, in the spirit of humble service, which we have received from Our Mother Foundress, St. Jeanne Jugan. We welcome them as we would Jesus himself and serve them with love and respect, those of lowest income, of any race or religion. The highlight of our respect for life until its natural ending is when we keep vigil with the residents, accompanying them over the threshold of eternity.” The Sisters are very grateful for your help in other years and are praying for you and your families. If you cannot help them financially, they are grateful for your prayers. They have always been grateful to the Archbishop and pastors of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, permitting them to beg at the doors of the churches. They refer to the church collections as their “bread and butter.” If you are able to help, please send your check directly to them at 476 Riddle Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220 or through St. Ann parish.
