The kick off of Mass+… in August was a great success. Over 200 parishioners joined us for the Open House as they toured the campus, and checked out our new Hospitality Room and Babysitting Center in Room 4. The Babysitting Center continues to be staffed
with wonderful Virtus-trained adult volunteers and teens. Families are taking advantage of the babysitting service during the 9:00AM and
11:30AM Masses on Sundays.
THANK YOU for the overwhelming response to our request for rockers and gliders for the Babysitting Center. We have equipped the room with four chairs. We truly appreciate your generosity! The parish store, located inside the Hospitality Room, is stocked with T-shirts, golf shirts, magnets, rosaries, books and sweatshirts. Many parishioners have stopped in to shop, or grabbed a cup of coffee on their way to a class in the Trinity Room
On September 16 we hosted a Ministry Fair where St. Ann’s 23 ministries were highlighted. The fair also included a scavenger hunt. Winners of the hunt won various gifts from the St. Ann Parish Store. The winners were Carmela Corpus, Tiana Novak, The McClanahan
Family, Terry Newton, Ted Weitmarchen and Elizabeth Thompson. Congratulations!
A few months ago we introduced the new Welcome and Hospitality Ministry, which included greeters, hospitality center stewards and babysitters. Almost 100 parishioner volunteers have joined the team on a rotational schedule. What a wonderful dedication to our parish! If you are still interested in being involved, we would love to have you. Check upcoming bulletins or ask in the Hospitality Room.
The new health ministry started up and offered free blood pressure screenings during the Open House, the Ministry Fair and the pancake breakfast. The doctors and nurses are looking forward to offering this service on the first Sunday of each month. Additional dates may be added.
