ST. ANN IS PARTICIPATING THIS YEAR!
Throughout our Engagement Process over the last year, the number one challenge we face as a parish is the engagement of our youth and young families. The youth group has been reestablished and they are planning how they will move forward. A common theme that keeps popping up for them and the young families involvement is that of having a place to do things, fun things, activities, socials and formation.
One answer to resolve that question of a place is the construction of the Pavilion, sand volleyball court and fire pit area in the grass area behind the school. That project was unveiled at the 65th Anniversary Dinner and will be on full display in January. Building it is one thing but there are many little things needed to complete the project. We are asking you to donate to the little things to make complete the Pavilion Project. Donations go toward picnic tables, volleyball equipment, seating and many other small items to make this area a home for many youth and family experiences. Possible volleyball leagues and formation at the fire pit. So many possibilities. We also invite parishioners to host their family reunions and celebrations here. Please donate to this project.
WHAT IS #iGIVECATHOLIC?
NOVEMBER 27, 2018 #iGiveCatholic is a 24-hour online giving event for the faithful in arch/dioceses across the nation (and the world!)
to unite and raise as many charitable dollars as possible for participating Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries. #iGiveCatholic presents an opportunity for Catholics to donate and support the organizations that shape our souls on #GivingTuesday.
