Hard to believe it has been 9 years already.  Thank you for all that you have done in that time.  There are just too many great things that have been accomplished to list them all.  One of the major accomplishments has been the Church beautification!  What a great place to worship and celebrate.  The grounds in general, the additon of the Pavilion, the improvements to putting air conditioning in the classrooms and gym.

Fr. McCarthy’s greatest gift was his teaching and strengthening of our faith thru all his educational presentations and powerful homilies.  The introduction of Mass+… , JOY Ministry, and other ministries.

Thank you from the parish and God Bless you in your new Family.

I was deeply touched by the farewell I received, especially at the end of the 11:30 Mass. I thought     I would be fine, until I saw that check, WOW- I certainly don’t deserve that much kindness, but       humbly accept it knowing it is a sign of your appreciation for me and that most of the money will be used for things like Streamspot at my new Family. The number of people who came to the party was mind-blowing. All week parishioners have sent me cards and stopped by to say thank me. It    has certainly been overwhelming knowing how many lives I have impacted, making leaving that much harder.

I am deeply moved by all the fuss and the grand send-off I received. In fact, I received so many cards, gifts, and well-wishes, I doubt I could thank everyone personally without forgetting someone. And given I am jumping into 4 parishes; I don’t think I will be able to respond as you all deserve.  So, may this note, convey my sincere appreciation to each, especially those who contributed to that big check. THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!

Nine years went by rather quickly, I have been most fortunate to be your pastor. We went through a lot during my time; I believe more good than bad. Your faithfulness to God, your support of the parish, and the encouragement you have shone the priests and seminarians has been amazing.

I wish you all well and hope that our paths will cross again. I will keep you in my prayers, and if you have time, please keep me in your prayers as well. God is Good, all the time….
