A convocation (from the Latin convocare meaning “to call/come together,” a translation of the Greek (ekklēsia) is a group of people formally assembled for a special purpose, mostly ecclesiastical or academic.

We are having our Parish Convocation on October 30, 2019 beginning at 6:30 p.m. starting in the church. Our “special purpose” is to update you on all the great things that have taken place since our last convocation, address the things that we have not solved and, most importantly, hear what you have to say, your opinion on how we can fulfill our mission and vision of what St. Ann can become. We want you to help us solve the challenges that we are facing.

The convocation will start in the church, where we will present several things and introduce part of our vision for the future. We will then break out into several small groups and address and offer solutions to the challenges.

Last year we had almost 200 people help us solve the challenges, and we hope that you take advantage of this evening to offer us your best wisdom. Hope to see you there!
