A recent poll of Catholics found that as many as 69% of self-professed Catholics believe that the Eucharist is merely a symbol. This stat should be a huge wake-up call to all of us as faithful Catholics. Some of the best ways to know the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist are to educate ourselves and to give ourselves the opportunity to have a real encounter with His Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament.
