Due to the pandemic, our LIGHT luncheons for the shut-ins and seniors has gone MOBILE! They cannot come to us so we will go to them. We have delivered for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentine’s Day so far. Next on the list is taking fish dinners for Lent on Friday, March 12th.
If you know someone either from the parish or a neighbor who is not able to get out, get with Cindy at 521-8440 to arrange a meal. If you would like to assist in delivering these meals which are scheduled for early afternoon, please contact Cindy.
As this ministry has expanded and will continue to grow, it will have a new name – JOY Ministry. Doesn’t stand for anything other than the JOY it brings to the people we serve and to the feeling we get when we deliver. Put some JOY in your life or the life of others!
