Our church beliefs can lead to many questions. Questions that may extend beyond Fr McCarthy’s homilies. So, he is dedicating his Tuesday morning after Mass to answering your questions. He calls this time “McChats” and you can click on the photo below to hear this weeks answers.
Fr McCarthy had two main points from this past Divine Mercy Sunday readings. First, the scriptures are there to guide us in our lives and the role our church plays in bringing that understanding. Second, we can learn from the Apostle “doubting” Thomas how to grow in faith and God’s mercy.

Fr McCarthy made a very good point in his Sunday homily when he said the centurion in the Passion readings, not the Apostles or his followers, was heard saying, “This truly was the Son of God”. We use the Lenten season to truly recognize Jesus is God as well.
